How we handle information across FirstServe — including our SMS messaging and opt-in policy.

FirstServe (“FirstServe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides white-labeled management software to racquet and country clubs (each, a “Club”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. It applies to our marketing website and to the FirstServe application provided to Clubs and their members, staff, and guests (“Users”).
Because FirstServe is provided on behalf of each Club, the Club generally acts as the controller of member and staff data, and FirstServe processes that data to operate the service for the Club. If you have questions about a specific Club’s use of your data, please contact that Club directly.
FirstServe can send automated text messages (SMS) on behalf of a Club — for example reservation and clinic reminders, roster and schedule-change alerts, and other service notifications.
No sharing of mobile information for marketing. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in/consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and consent information may be shared only with service providers that help us deliver messages (for example, our SMS gateway provider), and only for the purpose of sending the messages you have requested.
Text messages sent directly by a Club’s staff from their own phones (for example, tapping a member’s number to send a personal text) are ordinary person-to-person messages and are not automated app messaging governed by this SMS section.
We share information with the Club that provides your account, with service providers who process data on our behalf (such as hosting, email, SMS, and payment processors) under confidentiality obligations, and where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service for the Club and to meet legal obligations. We use role-based access controls, audit logging on sensitive actions, encryption in transit, and regular backups to protect information.
You can review and update your profile information, communication preferences, and SMS opt-in at any time within the app. To request access to or deletion of your information, contact your Club or reach us at demo@first-serve.app.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
